Salford residents are being encouraged to plan their travel ahead of the weekend full of sport that looks to takeover Greater Manchester.
The weekend is set to see both the Rugby Super League Grand Final take place at Old Trafford, and the Manchester Half Marathon.
And with those two events being split across Saturday and Sunday, there will be a lot of delays and road closures across Greater Manchester.

As thousands of Wigan and Hull head towards Old Trafford, Transport for Greater Manchester are advising resident to plan ahead of their journey.
And this will be the same message across the entire bumper sporting weekend, with this Manchester Half Marathon set to be the biggest yet – with 24,000 participants taking on the course.
The event on Sunday will also an increase of spectators, cheering and supporting half-marathon runners.
As thousands are expected to arrive in the city, and via the transport links Fran Wilkinson, Customer and Growth Director at TfGM, said: “We want everyone to have a great time and avoid hold-ups and delays wherever possible.
“Which is why I’d encourage anyone travelling in the half marathon area in particular to plan ahead and allow themselves plenty of time for their journey.”
She continued: “Tram will definitely be the best way to get around and if you’re coming to cheer someone on why not avoid the busy start and finish points and cheer on your runner from one of the lovely places along the route.
“It’s shaping up to be a really exciting weekend with two wonderful events that thousands of people will be heading out to enjoy – showcasing what Greater Manchester is all about,” she added.
The TfGM are encouraging residents to plan and are advising to avoid congested areas for road travel, as delays and closures are expected.
Commuters have also been encouraged to check bus times, as some operators across Greater Manchester will be impacted.
The TfGM have advised that residents should opt to use the tram network, with the lines being least affected by delays throughout the day.
The tram will run every 15 minutes and will allow commuters to travel with ease across Greater Manchester.
However, Salford residents have been warned that the Eccles line will be busier than usual, with spectators and sports fans using the stops around Cornbrook, Pomona, and Exchange Quays.
Anyone who will be hoping to use the roads across Greater Manchester have been advised to check the map route, and the full road closure list before setting off.
