Sale Sharks are planning a pioneering double-header event at Salford Community Stadium.
The back-to-back on field action will give fans the opportunity to support both the men’s and women’s sides as they take on their Leicester Tigers counterparts on December 1.
Sharks CEO Paul Smith said: “We’re committed to growing the women’s game in the North and providing opportunities for everyone to play the game we love.
“This special day will showcase everything that’s good about women’s rugby and be a real celebration of how far our relatively new team has come.”
Both sides will face Leicester Tigers, with the women’s game kicking off at midday, followed by the men’s game at 3.15pm. One ticket will cover both matches.
Mr Smith said: “We hope the fans will turn out in big numbers and arrive early to give the women’s team that special support that we see week in, week out at the Salford Stadium.”
