Salford City FC have announced a new partnership with Optime Group, with the aim of supporting and connecting with the local community.

The new sponsorship comes after the company ‘strategic expansion’ into the Manchester, with the company hoping to be involved in Salford’s iconic ownership and rich footballing heritage.

This comes as no surprise with the Optime Group, already being the leading provider of recruitment services for UK airports, with the company now holding a permanent office at Manchester airport since last year.

Following the new signing, CEO of Salford City and former Manchester United player, Nicky Butt, expressed his excitement for the new sponsorship: “We are delighted to welcome Optime to Salford City FC as a Club partner. 

“We look forward to working with them throughout the 2024-25 season and beyond.”

Butt also voiced that the club and company’s shared views on the ideas for the local community, he said: “It is clear how aligned our standards are around equality, diversity and inclusion which gives us a great starting point.

“We firmly believe that we can work together to continue supporting our community.” 

The Optime Group also recognises that the sponsorship is an opportunity to unite people from different backgrounds and encourage a sense of belonging through the football club.

With the company also hoping to introduce initiatives that are most important to the people of Salford and the wider region.
