X Factor’s Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and 80s pop star Nathan Moore will be headlining this year’s Worsley Live at Roe Green Cricket Club.
The festival this Sunday August 25 will also feature the electronic dance music group Ultrabeat, who are best known for their song ‘Pretty Green Eyes’.
Additionally, there will be a number of tribute acts that will hit the stage this Sunday for Worsley Live’s fourth year running.
This includes tribute acts such as Do it like Dua, Ultimate Coldplay, Rock Stewart and Thr33, who will pay tribute to ‘all the best boybands from the 90s’ such as Westlife, Boyzone and Take That.
Do it like Dua will kick off the music festival at 1pm and Ultrabeat will be the last to take the stage at 8.15pm.
The festival has been organised to raise “much needed funds” for Roe Green Cricket Club on Greenleach Lane.
Festival organiser, David Bowen, from Westhoughton, said: “The cricket club are trying to encourage young people into the sport and they’ve raised a lot of money to fit some new training nets and new scoreboards to hopefully make it better for up-and-coming cricket players.”
“We’ve got some fantastic headliners. It is quite weather dependent so we’re hoping for a bit of sun this weekend.”
Tickets are still available for Worsley Live 2024 this weekend and residents can find out more about this here.
