St Andrew’s CofE Primary School has been commended by Ofsted for its ‘outstanding’ commitment to fostering pupils’ development.
The report highlighted that the school in Boothstown (Worsley) is committed to enhancing the pupils’ personal development and education.
The Ofsted report further determined that ‘pupils thrive at this school’ and that relationships between pupils and staff are built on high levels of trust and respect.
Furthermore, the report noted that throughout the school, pupils’ behaviour is ‘exemplary’ as they are ‘kind, courteous and well mannered’.
St Andrew’s CofE Primary School headteacher Mike Platt said: “I’m so pleased that the school has received this outstanding grade. Our dedicated staff are proud to work here and all contribute to supporting our pupils to thrive and reach the highest standards possible in their education.
“Our school’s approach to education ensures pupils not only excel academically but also grow into respectful and well-rounded young people.”
Salford City Council has praised the school for the rating and its commitment to providing a high quality education that prepares them well for life after school.
Melissa Caslake, Executive Director of Children’s Services at Salford City Council, commented on the report: “We’re very pleased that the school’s great work with pupils has been recognised with an outstanding Ofsted rating. They work hard to provide excellent support to their pupils.”
