Salford Red Devils said they are “delighted” to sign Harvey Wilson from Wigan Warriors.
The 20-year-old will move to the Salford Community Stadium for the rest of this season and the 2025 campaign.
The Head Coach Paul said the young forward will be a “great addition” to the group and is “pleased” to welcome Wilson to the group.
The director of Rugby Operations at Salford Red Devils, Ian Blease, also commented: “I would like to welcome Harvey and his family to Salford Red Devils.
“Harvey will now get the opportunity to position himself within our team and bolster our forward pack for the remainder of this season, and next.
“Harvey comes in off his growing reputation within the game, and I am really excited to see how he grabs this opportunity.”
Wilson signed for Wigan in 2020 as part of the Warriors Scholarship programme and had been on loan with Championship side Bradford Bulls. He will now join up immediately with head coach Paul Rowley’s squad.
Wilson commented: “I am really looking forward to joining Salford.
“I can’t wait to get into it and take any opportunity I can to help the club. I am looking forward to playing with the lads and in front of the fans.”
