A new up and coming record label based in Salford has announced its first live DJ event on April 17.
The event will be held at Stage and Radio in Manchester with the label announcing four sets for the show.
The record label, Tacenda, was created in late 2023 and has slowly attracted a small following of people to the tech house rave scene.
The name was created by the company photographer, it means “to be heard not spoken to”.
Co-founders Iain Poole, 20, and Ethan Jackson, 22, created the record label as they wanted to expand people’s knowledge of rave music.
Ian said: “We wanted to create something which is new, unique and make the company an iconic name.”
The DJ’s playing at the event included THEBBBOYS, Joe Kelly and Macy Lancaster. One of the co-founders, Iain, is also doing a set at the event going B2B with Reid Davies. Iain is slowly climbing the ladder as he recently has played at Joshua Brooks and for the BBC at their Radio 6 music festival.
