Salford City FC travel to Milton Keynes for the first time this Saturday, for a needed win against MK Dons.

After a disappointing result last Saturday, The Ammies are hoping to make a comeback this weekend.

The club’s last three games have been short of sporting performance, ending in a defeat or draw.

Before this, they had been on a 9-game unbeaten run and are hoping to get back to their fine form.

Salford City’s previous run of games

It is expected to be a challenging game, MK Dons are 5th in the table with an 18-point difference to Salford City who are 19th.

However, MK Dons confidence may be knocked after a last-minute defeat against fierce rivals AFC Wimbledon last Saturday.

With a game tonight against Mansfield, who are currently top of the league, it will be interesting to see how The Dons fare.

Karl Robinson is hoping for a better performance this Saturday after that devastating 2-0 loss to Gillingham.

He stated in his post-match interview: “Our final needs to be better; we’ve got to be more aggressive in how we attack teams”.

With a focus on pressing, The Ammies may be able to see a more positive result this Saturday.

Robinson previously managed at the Buckinghamshire club, winning promotion to the Championship for the first time, after finishing runners up in League One in the 2014/15 season.

The last time The Ammies and The Dons met was back in November where The Ammies were beaten 2-4 at home.

This Saturday they make their way to Stadium MK for the first time.

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s game with a 617 ticket allocation for Salford City.

They are also running subsided coach travel for £10 for a return.
