A 29-year-old man was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court earlier today (February 20) in connection with a road traffic collision in Salford on Friday, February 16.
Christian Cabral, from Liverpool, has been charged with taking a vehicle without consent, inflicting grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article in a public space, failing to stop at an accident and failing to stop for police.

Police are continuing to appeal for information following the incident.
