Salford City have announced the signing of Jezreel Davies on an 18-month deal.
The 19-year-old midfielder signed for the Ammies subject to EFL and FA approval and ratifications.
The midfielder became a regular for Burnley at the under-21 level and will hope to progress in a Salford City side, currently sitting in 20th place in League Two.
The new arrival started his career playing grassroots football in the Sunday League before being noticed by London club Leyton Orient.
Jez proved his talent before finishing his scholarship at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, playing in the under-18s, before moving to the Clarets in December 2022.
The London-born midfielder spoke about the signing: “I’m buzzing to be here, start a new journey here, meet my teammates and the Gaffer.
“I’ve been playing Under-21s football at Burnley, but I’m ready to start my next chapter, playing men’s football in the league.”
Jez shared his excitement for the next step, entering the fourth tier: “A couple of my friends play for a League Two side and they’re telling me it’s going to be physical, but I’m ready for the challenge.
“I’m a central midfielder, I’m technical, physical, I like to get about the pitch and work hard.”
With the Ammies supporters hoping to climb the league table, the young signing could give Karl Robinson’s team the extra lift they need to continue their three-game unbeaten run.
