Salford City play their first game since the sacking of Neil Wood as they welcome Grimsby Town to the Peninsula Stadium.
The Ammies parted ways with the 40-year-old on Wednesday after a 1-5 home thrashing to Tranmere Rovers, the end of a run of nearly two months without a win in all competitions.
Wood’s assistant Simon Wiles will take charge of the game against the Mariners, as the club begin their search for a successor.

Grimsby sit just one point and two places above Salford going into tonight’s clash, both teams looking to avoid a relegation battle further down the line.
The Lincolnshire club travel to Moor Lane winless in three games, their last being a 2-0 away loss to Mansfield Town on Boxing Day.
Grimsby have not won an away game all season, but will be seeking to claim a league double over the Ammies, following a 2-0 win at Blundell Park.
Following their hammering against Rovers, Salford will look to bounce back against a similarly placed opponent and record their first home win since beating Newport County on October 7.
Conor McAleny will be missing from the matchday squad, following his sending off for two yellow cards against Tranmere.

Salford’s injury crisis has seemed to be coming to an end over recent weeks, with hopefully a couple more key players returning to the side.
The visitors had a number of injuries during their defeat to Mansfield, but manager David Artell are confident they will be ready to play in the game.
Salford City play Grimsby Town tonight at the Peninsula Stadium, with kick off at 19:45.
