Activities designed to make fans think about the best way to dispose of their rubbish and recycle will be staged on the pitch at Salford Red Devils matches.
The half-time campaign aims to promote responsible waste disposal and recycling in a fun and interactive way.
“We believe in making a positive impact both on and off the field, and the Bin It to Win It campaign aligns perfectly with our commitment to community engagement,” commented Chris Irwin from Salford Red Devils.
“It’s a fantastic way to reinforce the importance of sustainability while fostering a sense of fun and camaraderie among our supporters.”
In the Bin It To Win It campaign, contestants will have the opportunity to showcase their rugby skills in a variety of challenges throughout the season, competing for prizes provided by Lavelle Waste Services.
Sam Lavelle, the operations manager at Lavelle waste services, said: “We are excited to add an interactive and educational dimension to our partnership with the Salford Red Devils.
“The Bin It To Win It campaign is not only entertaining but also serves as a reminder of the significance of responsible waste management.
“Through initiatives like these, we hope to inspire positive behavioural change among fans and contribute to a cleaner and greener community.”
