Ryan Brierley has won Salford Red Devils player of the month for September 2023, his third player of the month award of the year.
After winning the award in August, Brierley continued to show his class in the Red Devils late dash for the playoffs across the month of September.
Despite missing out on the six by just 2 points, 31 year-old Ryan Brierley won both the coaches and the players, player of the year awards for the season, in recognition for his outstanding contributions over the course of the season.
Ryan Brierley voiced his appreciation, saying: “Thanks for all the votes, once again, it does not go unnoticed”
He went on to say: “I am just devastated we missed out on the playoffs, but I know Paul Rowley has already made changes to make us better, and with a bit of luck on our side I believe we can compete for silverware”.
The Scotland International has scored an impressive 12 tries, since he joined the Red Devils from Leigh Centurions in 2022.
He appeared 26 games for Salford in the 2023 season as the club narrowly missed out on the playoffs finishing 7th in the overall league standings.
