Ridge & Partners LLP have been named as the latest company to confirm their move to Salford’s Grade A office development 100 Embankment.
The property and construction consultants’ move means only one floor remains vacant at Salford’s new bustling office block. The company joins several other occupants such as +why, Deloitte and Aecom. This has helped establish 100 Embankment as a major business hub in Salford.
Salford City Mayor, Paul Dennett said: “I am delighted to welcome Ridge & Partners LLP to our prestigious development at 100 Embankment.”
The firm plan to move to their new home, relocating from Belvedere house, in January 2024, taking over a 10,000 sqft part on the second floor.
Lucy Osborne, Partner at Ridge, said: “The move to a larger, more modern space, is in keeping with our plans for growth whilst maintaining quality. Our focus is on providing the right environment for our people to enable them to deliver better for our clients.
“The larger collaboration space for multi-disciplinary working across all of our expertise is ideal for this.”
100 Embankment was named Manchester and Salford’s best performing office in 2022 by the Manchester Office Agents’ Forum (MOAF), after the development’s recent letting successes. It was developed through a joint partnership between Ask Real Estate, Tristan Capital Partners and Salford City Council. The interior displays a mural and artwork by local artist Barney Ibbotson which aims to represent the cultural identity of Salford.
Jamie Hills, Development Director at Ask Real Estate said: “Ridge joins an occupier line up along other global brands, and with only one floor now remaining, together with our partner, Salford City Council, we are confident that the building will be fully let in the coming months.”
