Salford City have released a statement to discourage spectators from pitch invading ahead of their big third round Carabao cup tie with Burnley.
The statement comes after fans breached the barriers after the surprise victory against Leeds United on penalties.
The club said: “Ahead of Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup Round Three fixture we would like to remind supporters about the Supporters’ Charter, and the behaviour we expect of all visitors.
“Pitch incursion at any point is an offence, and all supporters are forbidden from entering the playing surface.
“We are currently processing a number of bans in the wake of the Leeds United game in the previous round after reviewing footage available to us.”

The statement comes after the Leeds game when the final whistle blew and hundreds of jubilant Ammies fans invaded the pitch at the Peninsula stadium.
With the hope of beating Burnley being in the minds of the Salford faithful, the club have tried to discourage fans from entering the pitch incase they were to shock their Premier League opponents.
The English Football Association (FA) released a statement in May 2022, following several high-profile pitch invasions towards the end of the 2021-2022 football season.
The FA said: “We are very concerned about the rise in anti-social behaviour from fans as we reach the end of the season.
“Football stadiums should always be a safe and enjoyable space for everyone, and these incidents are completely unacceptable and have no place in our game.
“It is illegal to enter the pitch area in any stadium and these actions are putting players, fans and people who run the game at great risk. This simply cannot continue, and we can confirm that we are investigating all of the incidences.”
The game tonight sees Salford taking on Burnley in the third round of the cup, which is the furthest the Greater Manchester football outfit has ever gotten in the league cup.
The Salford City hierarchy are hoping for a positive display from their fans tonight following the poor conduct displayed by some supporters in the last round.
