More than 100 people have been confirmed to be performing in shops, businesses, and even the laundrette at this year’s Langworthy Live festival.
Taking place on Saturday 16 September, a total of 103 people (the youngest being 13) will perform in shops, businesses, and even the laundrette down Langworthy Road and Liverpool Street
The 63 artists will cover rock, jazz, electronic, folk, poetry, dance and even a ceilidh, with DJs and musicians ensuring the party goes on late into the evening. Quiet spaces for a cup of tea will also be provided.
Tickets cost £5.50, with proceeds from every purchase supporting LifeCentre, a Salford-based Christian Charity which has provided breakfast clubs, counselling and support in the area for more than 20 years.
The festival is modelled on Chorley Live, an annual community event centred around supporting local business and charities, which has welcomed more than 12,000 attendees.
