Dragon dances and music celebrations have taken place to welcome a brand-new Chinese music pavilion at RHS Bridgewater.
The new pavilion was unveiled yesterday (Monday 21 August) by the local Chinese community, in the centre’s dedicated Streamside Garden.
After being constructed using traditional Chinese craft techniques, materials and skills, by a group of seven specialist artisans from the Yangzhou Classical Garden Construction Company, the pavilion was welcomed with a dragon parade and music, which is thought to bring luck to spectators.
