Plans to turn the former Pendlebury Miners Club into 63 houses have been submitted for planning application.
The five-acre land, located off Temple Drive Swinton, could see the homes built as well as off-street or driveway parking, with plans featuring a total of 101 car parking and 126 cycle spaces.
Headed by Kings Associates Ltd, the plans would see access to the site from Goodwin Drive created, and the demolition of two houses on the street.
During its heyday, the former miners club featured a games room and bar, and held bingo nights and keep fit classes.
The land has remained vacant since the club was closed, then demolished in 1999, until last year, when locals reported that trees were chopped down and the land had been tided for the first time in years.
