The three charities set to benefit from money raised from the 2024 edition of the Salford calendar have been announced.

St Ann’s Hospice (Little Hulton), START Inspiring Minds, and Agnes Hopkins Community Centre were announced as the three charities to receive the funding from the profits this morning (Monday 22 May) via Facebook. All three were chosen by The Ceremonial Mayor Councillor Gina Reynolds.

Designed by Salford Precinct’s Artist in Residence, Chelsea Entwistle, the calendar will feature 13 hand-signed prints of landmarks from around the city. This will be the second year Entwistle’s work has featured on the keepsake.

With prices set at £20, each of the three charities will receive at least £5 from each purchase of the calendar.

Calendars can be purchased from a number of Salford City Council buildings and Gateways across the city. Exact locations are yet to be confirmed.
