There will be no public PC access at any Salford library throughout the day due to a system update.

The news was announced on social media earlier this week by Salford Community Libraries, with today (Friday 28 April), thought to be the only day affected by the changes.

Apologies were shared for the inconvenience, with staff reminding visitors that WIFI is still available on personal devices.

A statement from the team read: “Due to a system update, there will be no access to our public computers on Friday 28th April.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Don’t forget, you can still access our free public WiFi on your devices.”
