Salford artists’ work given pride of place in Museum

A collection of works by Salford artists have been put on display in a dedicated space at a museum.

Pieces from Chelsea Entwistle, Hot Bed Press and Sophie Heywood are just some of the works on display in Salford Museum’s ‘By Hand’ display.

Curated across two specialist cupboards, the works feature a range of mediums, from textiles to photography, showcasing the beauty of the city through colour and light.

The museum plans to spotlight each of the artists’ across a series of social media posts.

The nine artists’ work on are among a flurry of renovations at the museum, with the local history library undergoing extensive cosmetic work earlier this year.
