Alpacas are set to visit Swinton and Pendleton library for a series of meet-and-greets during the Easter holidays.

The furry friends be visiting the libraries throughout the Easter holidays, with the hopes of teaching visitors more about the species, and for a photo opportunity.

Organised by Salford Community Libraries, visitors are welcome to pet and feel the animals, in a multi-sensory meeting.

The animals will be visiting Swinton library on Tuesday 11 April, and Pendleton library on Friday 14 April.

Activities such as ceramic bird planter painting, colouring events and paint workshops will also be running throughout the holidays at Salford libraries.

Booking is essential for children and adults, with tickets costing just £1.50
