Salford City travel to Edgeley Park this Friday in what promises to be a big game in deciding the play-off places.
Neil Wood’s men sit just one point below County, who are unbeaten in their last five matches.
Stockport, while in fine form, face the prospect of being without star midfielder, Will Collar, who was side-lined for their win against Swindon Town on Saturday.
Salford come into the game off the back of a huge win away at Stevenage which saw them keep a grip on their play-off hopes.

The Ammies currently sit in 6th, the final play-off position, but 7th place Bradford City are only a point behind with a game in hand.
The 3-1 victory over Stevenage will mean that despite Dave Challinor’s side being in excellent form, Salford will travel down the M60 fully confident of getting a result at a sold out Edgeley Park.

Previewing Friday’s game after the victory over Stevange, Head Coach, Neil Wood, said: “It’s a big game that we’re looking forward to, it’s come at the right time.
“I think you want to play teams in and around you that you can take some points off.”
The former Manchester United youth team boss insisted that his players will not be intimated by the anticipated large crowds on Friday evening.
County ran out 0-2 victors in the reverse match at the Peninsula Stadium in October, but Salford have the perfect opportunity to avenge the loss as a win on Friday could seriously dent The Hatters hopes of back-to-back promotions.
