A new community group is to be given a vacant plot of land by the council, just off Bury New Road.
The land was once taken up by Hanover Court residential block before it was knocked down in 2005.
There is now a proposal to turn the plot into a multipurpose community group with the main tenant being Jewish charity Ezra Care.
Alongside the plans for the hub, there is also a plan for 26 specialist housing units.
This scheme would allow these houses to be built to the required specifications of the Jewish residents.
The committee is now recommended to approve a 250-year lease and the disposal when it meets next week.
This land is allocated as a housing asset which is a positive move because of the rising growth in the Jewish population in Salford.
This development will be beneficial for the Jewish community in Broughton, bringing new houses and community centre to a growing area.
