A ‘series’ of vehicle thefts across Salford has sparked a police investigation to identify suspects caught in CCTV footage.
The investigations come after a ‘series’ of vehicle thefts throughout the city, particularly in the Charlestown and Pendleton area.
The home CCTV footage shared by Salford GMP shows a man walk up a driveway and check the handles on two parked cars, before walking off down the unidentified street.
A Facebook post from Salford GMP said: “The Salford South East Neighbourhood Team continue to investigate a series theft from motor vehicle offences in the Charles Town and Pendleton area.
“We are looking to identify the offender involved in the above videos. Do you know who the offenders involved are?”
“You can report this information completely anonymously to Greater Manchester Police. Please report any information via “GMP Online report” There is no requirement to provide any personal information. You can simply put refused in the report.
“Any information provided with be completely anonymous and not used in anyway in the criminal investigation. Once you have documented your information on the report please state “For the attention of PS 13490 – Ref: CRI/06FF/0004789/23.”
