Salford hit with extreme queues after both lanes of M60 closed due to concern for welfare of woman

Both lanes of the M60 were closed last night after a concern for welfare of a woman.

Last night (Monday 30 January) the M60 was closed between J9 (Trafford Park) and J10 (Trafford Centre) due to a North West Motorway Police Group led incident.

The junction 19 (clockwise) slip road was also closed. The closure led to extreme queues around the Trafford Centre

The closure was due to a concern for welfare of a woman, whom Greater Manchester Police (GMP) supported.
