Salford Cathedral is hosting a candlelit event tomorrow welcoming Salfordians into a state of prayer and peace.
The event takes place from 7:30pm to 10pm and occurs on the last Friday of each month. There was no Nightfever event in December, so the church is excited to reopen this event for the 2023 season.
The event is organized by volunteers in the Legion of Mary, who will be outside to welcome residents in Salford who wish to take part.

A spokesperson for the cathedral said: “Nightfever is a time when our cathedral is open for people to come and spend time in private prayer, or perhaps come to confession.
“Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available.”
During the event, there will be time for prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, according to Jones.
Anyone is welcome to come to the cathedral and either light a candle or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere.
