High-flying Salford are hoping to gain ground on the top three in the league and secure another victory against Colchester United.
Salford City currently sit in 5th place while Colchester will be hoping to boost their survival chances as they sit in 19th
The two clubs last faced off against each other in 2021 which resulted in a victory of 2-0 in Salford’s favour.
The Ammies come in to the game in good form having won four of their last six games and have also had 10 days rest since their last match due to a late call off at Barrow on Saturday on 21 January.
When talking about the chances of making it to the playoffs Salford midfielder, Ethan Galbraith, said: “I think playoffs are massively realistic for us. Obviously, we’re pushing for the automatics as well, as we’ve closed the gap quite a lot in recent weeks.”
Colchester come in to the game off the back of a disappointing defeat to Gillingham but will take heart in the fact that the have won three of their last four games.
