A series of roadworks which were previously delayed are expected down Salford’s Frederick Road, this week.
Traffic coming out of Manchester will not be able to turn right onto Frederick Road, instead being diverted to Pendleton Roundabout, Broad Street and then onto Frederick Road.
Significant delays are expected throughout the week, with University students and people around the area urged to check travel updates and plan journeys in advance.
The works were expected to begin last Monday (16 January), but system errors meant the date was set a week earlier than the anticipated date.
