Morton is Salford City’s second January signing and will wear the number 27 for the Ammies.
The 22-year-old attacker has signed a two-and-a-half year deal, and joins us from Fleetwood Town where he has scored two goals and assisted three in 24 appearances so far this season, featuring regularly for the League One club.
Morton stated: “It’s been a breath of fresh air coming into the environment and working with Neil, it’s been good and I’m looking forward to cracking on now.
“I spoke to Alex [Cairns] and obviously Wilesy before coming, and they sold it for me, there are big ambitions at this
Club and hopefully my ambition and that ambition can match, and we can kick on together.”
He added: “Having the experience of coming in in a similar situation; having the experience of winning promotion from this league; being able to score in this league; I feel I can bring all of that to the squad and add that extra firepower.”
Morton is eligible for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Sutton United at The Peninsula Stadium.
