RHS Bridgewater gardens closed due to icy conditions

RHS Bridgewater has announced its gardens will remain closed today due to extreme weather conditions.

The centre announced the news this morning (Monday 12 December) via a string of online posts.

The post explained that the gardens of the centre would be closed for the remainder of the day to “ensure the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers”.

Both The Bridgewater Cafe and Garden Centre are set to remain open throughout the day.

The announcement comes after a weekend of heavy frost and snow throughout the the country.
