Winners of an under-11 football tournament in Salford will get the chance to play on the hallowed turf of Wembley.
The Utilita Kids Cup is a football tournament where Under 11’s will play six versus six 20-minute matches, with each team guaranteed three games.
The winners of the Salford leg will represent Salford City FC in the regional finals stage. The school will then have the chance to play at Wembley if they progress further.
The competition has been vital to the progression of Premier League players such as Manchester United’s Scott McTominay and Crystal Palace’s Will Hughes, who were both discovered at the tournament.
The event will take place on January 18th 2022 from 12:00-15:00 on the University of Salford 4G pitches.
