Salford City will be hoping to get back to winning ways as Exeter City head to The Peninsula Stadium in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.
The Ammies currently sit in 17th place in the table having most recently lost out to current league leaders, Forest Green Rovers, last weekend.
Speaking after the game last weekend manager Gary Bowyer told Salford City YouTube channel that the Ammies had a tough afternoon, and admits he was disappointed with his sides performance.
He said: “You know we had good opportunities but the manner of the last two goals is poor from us in terms of how we give the ball away and then our reaction to it.
“And our defending, no disrespect but the way the two of them would just dance through unchallenged is not good enough from us.”
🗣 "The lads are buzzing to really put it right and hopefully we can get the result that the fans want."@mattywillock says the squad are feeling positive ahead of the weekend!#WeAreSalford 🦁🔴

13 places separate Salford and Exeter in the league, with The Grecians currently occupying fourth spot in the table, so Bowyer’s side will need to pull of something special if they are to come away with all three points on Saturday.
Salford are heading into the fixture with nine players out injured, but Jason Lowe is likely to make his return to the side after serving a one match ban last weekend.
The Ammies will be desperate to get back to winning ways on Saturday and aiming to get their season back on track, with the support of their home fans.
