Salford residents and Abbey College Manchester students Dimitry Trofimenko (18) and Aimen Taguri (18) are celebrating highly impressive A-Level results today (10 August).
Dimitry and Aimen obtained their outstanding results from the city-center based college where Dimitry discovered he had achieved A*A*A* in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, and Aimen secured A*A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
Dimitry will now take his talents to read Chemistry at Imperial College London and Aimen will progress to study Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Liverpool.
Principal at Abbey College Manchester Liz Elam, commented, “Dimitry and Aimen are both incredibly hard-working students, which is reflected in their exceptional results. We are very proud of them both.

Abbey College is an independent college in the centre of Manchester.
There are 220 students at the college, comprising a mix of students from the local area and other countries. The college offers A-Level, GCSE, Combined Studies and International Foundation Programmes.
