Two car drivers were seriously injured in an accident in Pendleton yesterday.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision which closed Liverpool Street yesterday afternoon.
GMP said: “Shortly after 1.15pm on Tuesday 15 December 2020, a grey Mercedes C2020 was travelling on Liverpool Street towards Langworthy Road, when it collided with a silver Toyota Yaris.
“The driver of the Toyota Yaris , a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
“The driver of the Mercedes, a man in his 40s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
It is understood that no arrests have been made so far.
