On Saturday 28th November Sales Sharks Women will be playing against Worcester Warriors Women in the Allianz Premier 15s.
The Sharks’ women’s team are newly-formed and despite not winning a single game so far in their maiden season in the Premier 15s, they are definitely a work in progress.
Their first match came only last month on 10th October when they played against Loughborough with the result coming in at 7-29 to Loughborough.
Sale’s most recent major defeat came on Friday 13th November with a result of 0-31 to the Harlequins showing that the Sharks have came off to a tough start this season.
It hasn’t been easy for them however, as their prior competitors the Harlequins and Saracens are both at the top of the Premier 15s league respectively. But Sale are still confident of a win sometime soon this season.
As a new team, Sale are regularly making changes to their lineup with their latest fixture seeing Aisha Abu-Marzouq alongside Molly Kelly and Katie Houghton in the front row.
Abu-Marzouq recently replaced Gwenllian Pyrs for her position in their last match when Pyrs suffered due to injury.
We will be Live Streaming the game again this weekend 🎥 🥳

Worcester, Sale’s opponents in this week’s fixtures, are 8th place in the Premier 15s league table. Despite being higher in the league than the Sharks, they aren’t as tough a side as some of their previous competitors meaning that the Sharks first win could be imminent.
The Warriors have had three wins this season with their biggest being against Durham Sharks with a 5-58 score in Worcester’s favour. Yet they have seen defeat this season most recently against Exeter Chiefs with a result of 19-7 to Exeter.
This weekend’s match will take place at 2:30pm and will be held at the AJ Bell stadium with hope that Sale will gain their first victory of the season.
