Salford-born poet Dr John Cooper Clarke has announced a 2021 UK tour in celebration of his long-awaited autobiography ‘I Wanna Be Yours’.
John’s new show is scheduled to start in May next year and will showcase his poetry, stories and eccentric humour and will commence at Manchester Bridgewater Hall on Friday 11th June.
His book is due for release this Thursday 15th October by publishers Picador and will take readers on a journey through his life as a punk poet Laureate, rock star, fashion icon and presenter.

Born in Higher Broughton in 1949, John became interested in poetry after being inspired by his English teacher and has performed on the same bill as bands such as Sex Pistols, Joy Division and Buzzcocks throughout the 70s punk rock era..
