The show must go on! Despite lock down restrictions, The Music Shed is determined to showcase their talented bands in a Salford virtual music festival streamed directly to your living room.
The Music Shed, a music school in Eccles, are providing the community with a month of virtual free gigs due to the restrictions on large gatherings.
Dawn Luvin, co-owner of The Music Shed, said: ‘We normally have live performances for the community to attend in person all year round, however due to COVID restrictions we have created streamed gigs through October to bring music to peoples homes.
‘The bands have been rehearsing since September, so the live streams will give students the chance to perform to an audience.’
‘Rocktober’ begins on October 9 2020 and continues every Friday evening in October, showcasing a different band each week in the Salford virtual music festival.
Reaching the finale on October 30, the youngest band will play their first ever gig in the Halloween fancy dress special.
The live streams will take place on The Music shed Facebook Page, click here to follow so that you do not miss out!
