Salford is on 956 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of ONE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 956, an increase of ONE

BURY: 790, an increase of NONE

BOLTON: 1,039, an increase of ONE

ROCHDALE: 836, an increase of THREE

OLDHAM: 1,112, an increase of NONE

TAMESIDE: 790, an increase of FIVE

STOCKPORT: 1,061, an increase of THREE

MANCHESTER: 1,636, an increase of ONE

TRAFFORD: 846, an increase of TWO

WIGAN: 1,221, an increase of ONE
