A road in Salford has been closed off after reports of a crash this afternoon.
Frederick Road in Salford has been cordoned off by police after reports of a collision between a cyclist and a car.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Police were called just before 1.40 pm on Sunday 12 April 2020 to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle on Frederick Road in Salford.
“The cyclist has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries sustained.
“The driver of the car remained at the scene. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
Due to the incident, the road is closed from Lower Broughton Road to Wallness Lane, according to the Travel services, with further reports of Broughton Road East and Seaford Road being closed off.
Greater Manchester Police will be making further updates to follow this.
