A shotgun was fired through the window of a Salford property last night
Police were called to a property on Murray Street in Higher Broughton at around 9pm on Wednesday evening following reports of a loud bang.
No injuries have been reported and a police cordon was put in place as officers investigated at the scene.
A GMP spokesperson said: “A shotgun was fired through the window of a property. The offenders fled the scene before police arrived.”
No arrests have been made so far and police are now appealing for further information.
An earlier incident involving a firearm took place on the 3rd of January this year. A field was taped off near Lark Hill Primary School on Bradden Close in Langworthy.
In 2019, there were a total of 117 crimes committed using weapons in Salford and Eccles.
