A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The incident took place on Great Clowes Street, Broughton, where emergency services were called to the scene at around 3am.
The man, in his twenties, sustained leg and wrist injuries and was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary.
A teenage girl, who was a passenger in the car that hit the male, has been taken to Salford Royal Hospital.
A spokeswomen for North West Ambulance Service has said that the girl’s injuries are not life threatening nor serious.
Police closed a large section of the road for more than three hours, where it was re-opened at 6:40am.
