Greater Manchester Police are appealing for more information after an incident with a firearm in Church street, Eccles yesterday.
Police were called to the scene Sunday, December 8, after reports of a firearm being used at around 10pm.
Detective Inspector Joanne Kay, of the Salford district, said: “Fortunately no one was hurt in this instance; however, I would like to reassure the public that we are treating this crime very seriously and are doing all we can to find those responsible.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone that was on or around Church Street at the time of this incident and may have heard or seen anything unusual or suspicious.”

The offender was described as wearing dark clothing and is believed to have left the scene in a grey people carrier.
Enquiries are ongoing and anybody with information should contact police on 0161 856 5168, quoting incident number 3107 of 08/12/2019, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
