In the Blackley and Broughton constituency, there are five candidates who are looking to have the seat in Parliament.
The area is currently held by Labour’s Graham Stringer, who has been in the Blackley seat since 1997.
The constituency of Blackley and Broughton was formed in 2010 following a review by the Boundary Commission for England, and covers electoral wards from both Salford City Council and Manchester City Council. It is the only electoral seat outside London that includes two cities; Salford and Manchester
Stringer faces competition from the Brexit Party, the Liberal Democrats, the Conservative Party and the Green Party.
