Reminisce on Salford’s History with creative sessions at the Salford Local History Library.
The creative reminiscence sessions are hosted at Salford Local History Library, which is inside the Salford Museum and Art Gallery. It is an opportunity for the community to reminisce about growing up in Salford to share the memories with other attendees.
It will allow attendees to share memories and stories with others in an interactive way.
The sessions, which are free, are described as ‘perfect for anyone interested in local history, social history, and reminiscence’.

Music and objects will be included in the session which aims to bring people together and allow them the opportunity to meet new people.
The sessions are funded by Ambition for Ageing, Age UK Salford and Inspiring Communities and are targeted at over 50’s.
The first session was on the 7th of November and in the coming months it will run on the first Thursday of every month:

The sessions run the morning from 10 until 11.30 am and require booking.
