For the first time tonight, Nine Lessons and Carols for Curious People will be held at The Lowry Theatre.
Every year, The Cosmic Shambles Network put together a show in London filled with experiments, comedy, songs, poetry and more.
However, this year they’re kick starting the tenth staging of the show here in the North, for the first time ever for over a decade. The annual celebration will last for two day’s in Salford, starting on Friday 29th November and will end on Saturday 30th November.
Both shows will start at 7.30pm, with tickets costing from £23.
It will then be heading back down to London’s King’s Place in December.
The show will be hosted by comedian Robin Ince, and he will be joined by a huge bill of special guests including, Dr Helen Czerski, Professor Matthew Cobb, Matt Parker and many more.

Steve Cowton, Head of Programming for The Lowry Theatre said: “This is a secular winter celebration for all religions to enjoy the beauty of science. This is a sold out event and we are hoping it will exceed everyone’s expectations”.
All events will be raising money for one of the UK’s leading cancer charities for children and families, Clic Sargent .
They will also be raising money for the charity, Two Wheels for Life who help to provide life-saving healthcare for communities in Africa.
Additionally, they will be running collections of urgently needed items for The Trussell Trust Foodbanks.
