Whoville inspired Christmas markets are coming to Salford again this year for Grinch-themed family fun.
The event arrives at the Lowry Outlet as The Lowry Theatre prepares for Dr Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical.
The Makers market will be transformed, offering the finest local food and drink, vintage and modern crafts, and a place to pick up unique Christmas gifts.
Inside the mall, a special Whoville post office will be set up for little Cindy-Lou Whos to drop off their letters to the North Pole for Santa Claus to read. Elves will be on site to help children decide what they want for Christmas, and there will be many opportunities to take pictures too.
Direct from Whoville, The Grinch is in Manchester and he's already causing mayhem across the city. ? It looks like he's here to stay… and he's heading our way ?! https://t.co/LUHkRLnuYi ❄️@grinchmusicaluk ✨ https://t.co/qZy9oZDvm0

A range of activities will be available for all shoppers and visitors who are looking for a bit of a challenge and a great laugh.
The Whoville Present Trail is the ultimate activity to join in with whilst shopping around the mall. Collect a map and search high and low for residents’ Christmas gifts that the naughty Grinch has stolen and hidden around the mall.
Bookworms can immerse themselves in a world of fiction in the Mount Crumpit reading area, which holds a collection of books to read and share stories.
The Whoville Christmas Markets will start on Thursday 21st November and will run every weekend until Sunday 22nd December just before Christmas arrives. The festivity will operate from 10:00 – 19:00 on Saturdays and 1:00 – 17:00 on Sundays. On Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd November the markets will be open from 10:00 – 19:00.
