Alex Hartley, who plays for Lancashire County Cricket Club, will not have her ECB Central Contract renewed when the deal runs out in January.
Hartley took to Twitter to thank her teammates and express her pride at having been given the honour of representing her country.
Having the opportunity to play for my country over the last 3 years has been a dream come true.

The left-arm spinner featured in England’s triumphant World Cup Final win in 2017, taking two wickets in the process, and has been an integral part of the side, taking 42 wickets in 32 international games.
Alex Hartley has also featured regularly for Lancashire Thunder in the Kia Super League.
England’s Interim Head Coach, Ali Maiden, said:
“Alex is undoubtedly a talented bowler and the door is absolutely never closed on her returning to the international stage.”
“We have a lot of talented spinners in the current playing group and that competition places is healthy for us moving forward.”
