Manchester Northern Quarter’s back-street jazz club, Matt & Phred’s, has teamed up with neighbourhood curator Get Living to hold a series of canal-side jazz sessions this September at Middlewood Locks, Salford.
The penultimate one of these sessions is this evening. Salford based brewers ‘Seven Brothers’ will also have a stand at the event.

Leeds-based high-octane brass band Loud Noises will be providing the music this evening from 6:30pm until 9:00pm.
The new £1 billion Middlewood Locks development is a three-way joint venture.
Half is owned by Scarborough International and the other half being co-owned between Singapore based Metro Holdings and the Chinese conglomerate, the Hualing Group.
The 24 ½ acre development promises 900,000 sq ft of commercial space as well as over 2,000 apartments. The first phase of development was completed in October 2018.
