Salford Red Devils make the short journey up to West Yorkshire this Sunday as they seek to avoid a third straight defeat when they take on seventh-placed Wakefield Trinity.
Ian Watson’s side began the season with two successive wins but have won only two of their last six games and have only one home win to their name so far this season.
Despite the slight slump in results, the Red Devils remain in fourth position in the Super League.

Salford emerged victorious when the two sides met at the AJ Bell Stadium in April, however they haven’t won away at Wakefield in their previous three attempts, last winning in 2015.
The Red Devils have been lifted by their away form so far this season, in which they have won three from a possible four games. They will be confident of extending such a run with Trinity struggling at home too, winning only once in four occasions at Belle Vue.
Saturday saw the Red Devils fall to a narrow 30-22 loss versus champions Wigan Warriors and coach Ian Watson has warned that his side need to improve defensively if they are to turn results around.
Opponents Wakefield sit seventh in the Super League with six points, having lost their first two games of the season. They have however won three of their last five and will be hoping to build on their mini revival.
Wakefield were also on the end of a close defeat at the weekend as they lost 34-32 at home to Warrington and will be hoping for an immediate response.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 3:00 pm and tickets and travel are still available for Salford supporters. Fans wishing to make the journey should either visit the AJ Bell stadium box office in person or arrange over the phone by contacting 0161 786 1570.
